Hello again.

Esta semana os muestro algunas de las aves que pudimos ver en uno de nuestros viajes guiados por el Parque Nacional Sierra de Guadarrama.

This week I show you some Birds that we were able to watch in one of our guided trips through the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.

El tiempo no fue bueno aunque algún rato lucio el sol pero la mayoría del tiempo estuvo nublado e incluso, como se puede ver en alguna foto, llovió.

The weather was not good although some times the sun shone but most of the time it was cloudy and even, as you can see in some photos, it rained.

Vimos una pareja de culebrera europea (Circaetus gallicus).

We saw a pair of Short-toed Eagle.

Y otra de abejero europeo (Pernis apivorus).

And another of European Honey-buzzard.

Las dos especies mencionadas anteriormente compartiendo cielo.

The two species mentioned above sharing sky.

Águila calzada (Aquila pennata) fase clara.

Booted Eagle pale phase.

Carbonero garrapinos (Periparus ater).

Coal Tit.

Buitre negro (Aegypius monachus).

Black Vulture.

Buitre leonado (Gyps fulvus).

Griffon Vulture.

Acentor común (Prunella modularis).

Dunnock.

Este año las aves están entrando en celo más tarde que otros años. Debe de ser debido a las lluvias y bajas temperaturas de esta primavera.

This year Birds are going into heat later than other years. It must be due to the rains and low temperatures of this spring.

Los acentores comunes (Prunella modularis) eran los más activos de todos.

Dunnocks were the most active of all.

Vimos muchos verderones serranos (Serinus citrinella).

We saw many Citril Finches.

Y algunos bastante cerca.

And some pretty close.

Bonitas aves.

Beautiful Birds.

Escribano montesino (Emberiza cia).

Rock Bunting.

Los cucos comunes (Cuculus canorus) no paraban de cantar y perseguirse.

The Common Cuckoos did not stop singing and harassing each other.

Macho de gavilán común (Accipiter nisus).

Male of Eurasian Sparrowhawk.

Ninguno de los arrendajos euroasiáticos (Garrulus glandarius) que vimos quiso posar para la cámara.

None of the Eurasian Jays we saw wanted to pose for the camera.

Un lejano macho de oropéndola europea (Oriolus oriolus).

A distant male Golden Oriole.

E igual de distante una hembra.

And just as distant a female.

Petirrojo europeo (Erithacus rubecula).

European Robin.

Macho de pico menor (Dendrocopos minor).

Male of Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.

Macho de colirrojo tizón (Phoenicurus ochruros).

Male of Black Redstart.

Cuervo grande (Corvus corax).

Common Raven.

Había muchos narcisos.

There were many Daffodils.

Macho de collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe).

Male of Northern Wheatear.

Macho de pardillo común (Carduelis cannabina).

Male of Common Linnet.
