Este blog trata de aves vistas durante abril y mayo en La Mancha Húmeda en nuestros viajes por esta bonita zona que además alberga gran cantidad y variedad de especies.

This post is about Birds seen during Apriland May in Wetlands of La Mancha on our trips through this beautiful area that also hosts a large number and variety of species.

En los cultivos que rodean las lagunas se pueden ver algunas aves esteparias como el alcaraván común (Burhinus oedicnemus).

In the crops fields that surround the lagoons you can see some steppe Birds such as the Stone Curlew.

A pesar de estar incluida en el Catálogo Nacional de Especies Amenazadas como especie en peligro de extinción esta especie se está recuperando. 

Despite being included in the National Catalog of Endangered Species as an endangered species, this species is recovering.
