Birding Spain. Pajareando por España.

Hi again.

En esta entrada os muestro algunas aves vistas en una excursión de cuatro días de duración. Como los clientes eran extranjeros decidí enseñarles distintos ecosistemas y las aves que se pueden observar en ellos.
In this post I show you some Birds seen on a tour of four days. As customers were foreigners I decided to show them different ecosystems and Birds that can be seen in them.

La verdad es que no tuvimos mucha suerte en cuanto a tomar fotos se refiere pero pudimos observar una gran cantidad de especies. No siempre se pueden sacar buenas fotos de aves en la naturaleza sin cebos ni hides. De cualquier manera lo pasamos muy bien pues además de los hermosos lugares visitados magnífico humor de los pasajeros contribuyo mucho.
The truth is that we were not very lucky in taking Bird photographs but we saw many species. No one can always take good photos of birds in nature without baits or hides. Anyway we had a great time because apart of the beautiful places visited the wonderful good mood of the passengers contribute very much.

El tiempo fue muy bueno y nada caluroso lo que se agradeció mucho.
The weather was very good and nothing hot which was much appreciated.

Collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe).
Northern Wheatear.


Sisón común (Tetrax tetrax).
Little Bustard.


Elanio común (Elanus caeruleus).
Black-shouldered Kite.



Alcaudón real meridional (Lanius meridionalis).
Southern Grey Shrike.


Tarabilla norteña (Saxicola rubetra).
Whinchat.


Ardilla común (Sciurus vulgaris).
Eurasian Red Squirrel.


Macho de roquero solitario (Monticola solitarius).
Male of Blue Rock Thrush.

Buitre leonado (Gyps fulvus).
Griffon Vulture.




Algunos jóvenes aun eran alimentados por sus padres.

Cugüeña negra (Ciconia nigra).
Black Stork.



Alimoche común (Neophron percnopterus).
Egyptian Vulture.





Joven en su nido.

Garza real (Ardea cinerea).
Grey Heron.


Culebrera europea (Circaetus gallicus).
Short-toed Eagle.


En la excursión pudimos observar las tres especies más emblemáticas de rapaces diurnas españolas. Aguila imperial ibérica (Aquila adalberti) en la foto, águila perdicera (Aquila fasciata) y la real (Aquila chrysaetos) . 
During the tour we saw the three most emblematic species of Spanish Diurnal Raptors. Spanish Imperial Eagle in the photo, Bonelli's Eagle and Golden Eagle.

Macho de colirrojo tizón (Phoenicurus ochruros).
Male of Black Redstart.

Collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe) macho en plumaje de invierno.

Cernícalo vulgar (Falco tinnunculus).

Juvenile of Spanish Imperial Eagle.


Un joven macho de cabra montés (Capra pyrenaica victoriae).

Acentor común (Prunella modularis).

Y después hay que secarse y arreglarse las plumas.
And then you have to dry and preen.
