La berrea en el Parque Nacional de Cabañeros. Red Deer Rut at Cabaneros National Park.

En este blog os muestro las fotos que pude tomar en la visita programada para ver y fotografiar la berrea en el Parque Nacional de Cabañeros el 24 de septiembre.

In this blog I show you the photos I was able to take on the scheduled visit to see and photograph the bellowing in the Cabañeros National Park on September 24.

El tiempo fue bueno aunque la temperatura subió hasta los 25 º C.
The weather was good although the temperature rose to 25º C.

La primera parte del día estuvimos viendo algunas aves del parque pero pasaron todas bastante lejos y no saqué ninguna foto.
The first part of the day we were watching some Birds in the Park but they all passed quite far and I didn't take any photos.

Después hicimos varias visitas a los distintos lugares del Parque para conocerlo pues es muy bonito y merece la pena hacer un recorrido por él.

Then we made several visits to the different places in the Park to get to know it because it is very beautiful and it is worth taking a tour of it.

Vimos varios corzos (Capreolus capreolus). En la foto un macho.

We saw several Roe Deer. In the photo a Buck.

Después del almuerzo nos dimos un paseo por las inmediaciones del parque. Lo más destacado fueron la cantidad de quitameriendas (Colchicum montanum) que había y las mariposas que estaban tomando su néctar. La mayoría eran Pandora (Argynnis pandora).

After lunch we took a walk around the Park. The highlights were the amount of  False Meadow Saffron that were there and the butterflies that were drinking their nectar. Most were Cardinal.

A las 5:30 nos montamos en el jeep de Visita Cabañeros que es la empresa que realiza los paseo por el Parque. En este caso es un viaje privado especialmente para hacer fotografías. Solo pueden ir, como máximo, 6 personas en él.

At 5:30 a.m. we got on the jeep of Visit Cabañeros, which is the company that carries out the tours of the Park. In this case it is a private trip especially for taking photographs. Only a maximum of 6 people can go in it.

Enseguida pudimos fotografiar los primeras berreas.

Right away we were able to photograph the first bellows.

Siempre me llama la atención lo desconfiados que están pues, a pesar de ver los jeeps todos los días varias veces, huyen en cuanto este se aproxima a ellos.

It always strikes me how suspicious they are because, despite seeing the jeeps several times every day, they flee as soon as you approach to them.

Es impresionante la cantidad de ciervos que viven en el Parque.

The number of Red Deer that live in the Park is awesome.

Este año se notaba que los venados habían tenido alimento durante el verano pues estaban bastante gordos.

This year it was noticeable that Deer had had food during the summer as they were fat.

Como podéis ver la berrea estaba en pleno apogeo. Los bramidos son difíciles de olvidar.

As you can see, the rut was in full swing. Roars are hard to forget.
