Lo primero de todo es agradeceros vuestras visitas al blog pues ya he rebasado las 375.000 visitar. Muchas gracias de todo corazón.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your visits to the blog as I have already exceeded 375,000 visits. Thank you very much.

Debido a las restricciones ocasionadas por el coronavirus en España me he visto obligado a suspender todas las excursiones que tenía previstas realizar, desde octubre hasta la fecha, y al tener más tiempo libre me he dedicado a pasear por distintos puntos de la geografía de la comunidad de Madrid y entre ellos varios parques de Madrid capital.

Due to the restrictions caused by the coronavirus in Spain, I have been forced to suspend all activities that I had planned to have, from October to date, and having more free time I have dedicated to walk through different parts of the geography of the community from Madrid and among them several parks in Madrid Capital.

Esperemos que estas restricciones finalicen pronto y pueda volver a reanudar las excursiones. 

I hope these restrictions will end soon and I can return again with my trips.

Esta semana os muestro algunas aves vistas en algunos Parques públicos de Madrid. Es interesante ver como algunas especies de aves como los pitos reales ibéricos (Picus sharpei)y los picogordos (Coccothraustes coccothraustes) son mucho más confiados que en el campo.

This week I show you some Birds seen in some Public Parks of Madrid. It is interesting how some species of Birds such as Green Woodpecker and Hawfinch are much more confident than in countryside.

Un gorrión molinero (Passer montanus).

An Eurasian Tree Sparrow.

En el río manzanares a su paso por la capital, no es difícil ver garzas reales (Ardea cinerea) pescando.

In the Manzanares River as it passes through the capital, it is not difficult to see gray herons  fishing.

Lavandera cascadeña (Motacilla cinerea).

Grey Wagtail.

También son habituales las garcetas comunes (Egretta garzetta).

Little Egret are also common.

Pito real ibérico (Picus sharpei) macho.

Iberian Green Woodpecker male.

Hembra.

Female.

Vulcana (Vanessa atalanta).

Red Admiral.

En todos los parques se pueden ver carboneros comunes (Parus major).

Great Tit can be seen in all Parks.

Y lo mismo ocurre con los herrerillos comunes (Cyanistes caeruleus).

As well as Blue Tit.

Los herrerillos capuchinos (Lophophanes cristatus) son más difíciles de ver pues son menos abundantes.

Crested Tit are more difficult to see as they are less abundant.

Son preciosos.

They are very beautiful.

Pico picapinos (Dendrocopos major) macho.

Great Spotted Woodpecker male.

Gorrión molinero (Passer montanus).

Eurasian Tree Sparrow.

Trepador azul (Sitta europaea).

European Nuthatch.

 

Urraca común (Pica pica).

Common Magpie.

Carbonero garrapinos (Periparus ater).

Coal Tit.

Un azor común (Accipiter gentilis) joven.

Northern Goshawk juvenile.

Paloma zurita (Columba oenas).

Stock Dove.

Cotorra de kramer (Psittacula krameri).

Rose-ringed Parakeet.

Se que es un ave invasora pero a mi me gustan mucho.

I know it is an invasive Bird but I like them a lot.

Mirlo común (Turdus merula) macho.

Male Blackbird.

Hembra.

Female.

Picogordo (Coccothraustes coccothraustes) macho.

Female Hawfinch male.

Hembra.

Female.

Son muy bonitos.

They are very beautiful.

En uno de los parques me extrañó ver que ha finales de noviembre un pato criollo doméstico (Cairina moschata domestica) había sacado 11 pollitos.  Luego encontré desorientados otros 6 más que se habían despistado de su madre e iban detrás de otra hembra que no les hacía ni caso.

In one of the parks I was surprised to see that at the end of November a domestic Muscovy Duck had taken out 11 ducklings. Then I found disoriented 6 more who had lost their way from their mother and were going after another female who ignored them.

Cuando me iba del parque comprobé que ya estaban todos reunidos. Nunca había visto antes una camada de 19 patitos.

When I was leaving the park I verified that they were all gathered. I have never seen a brood of 19 ducklings before.

Durante el otoño e invierno se ven muchos petirrojos europeos (Erithacus rubecula).

During fall and winter many European Robins can be seen.
