Pajareando por Gredos, Ruiseñor Pechiazul. Birding Gredos, Bluethroat

 

Hola una vez más.
Hi again.

El 31 de julio hago el cese de la agencia de viajes por jubilación.

Todo llega y, en mi caso, con ilusión y esperanza comienzo esta nueva etapa de mi vida para  poder tener mas tiempo libre para seguir disfrutando de la compañía de la naturaleza y, especialmente, de las aves.

Ha sido un verdadero placer compartir con todos vosotros estos 13 años de viajes y excursiones tanto en España como en el extranjero observando y fotografiando fauna y flora. Muchas gracias a todos y nos encontraremos de nuevo por los campos en busca de nuestros amigos: aves, mamíferos, mariposas, reptiles, etc. que tantos buenos ratos nos hacen pasar.

Hasta siempre con todo mi agradecimiento a aquellos que me habéis permitido disfrutar haciendo lo que desde siempre más me ha gustado.

On July 31, I am leaving the travel agency due to retirement.

Everything comes and, in my case, with enthusiasm and hope I begin this new stage of my life to be able to have more free time to continue enjoying the company of Nature and, especially, Birds.

It has been a true pleasure to share with all of you these 13 years of trips and excursions both in Spain and abroad observing and photographing Fauna and Flora. Thank you all very much and we will meet again in the fields in search of our friends: birds, mammals, butterflies, reptiles, etc. that they make us have so many good times.

Goodbye with all my gratitude to those who have allowed me to enjoy doing what I have always liked the most.

De todos modos, al día de hoy, estoy pensando en seguir con los blogs de mis viajes y excursiones por si a alguien le pueden interesar pues ya llevo más de 500.000 visitas.

Anyway, up to now, I'm thinking about continuing with the blogs of my trips and excursions in case anyone might be interested since I already have more than 500,000 visits.

En esta ocasión os muestro lo que pude fotografiar en una visita privada a la Sierra de Gredos el 14 de mayo y con el principal objetivo de fotografiar al bonito ruiseñor pechiazul (Luscinia svecica).

On this occasion I show you what I was able to photograph on a private visit to the Sierra de Gredos on May 14 and with the main objective of photographing the beautiful Bluethroat.

El tiempo estuvo regular pues hacía bastante viento y muchas nubes pero no llovió.

Weather was fair as it was quite windy and cloudy but it didn't rain.

Desde el propio parking de la plataforma pudimos ver a varios buitres, tanto leonados (Gyps fulvus) como el de la imagen que es un negro (Aegypius monachus).

From the parking lot of the platform we could see several Vultures, both Griffons and the one in the image, which is a Black one.

Al poco rato de comenzar a subir por la senda que va hacia Los Colgadizos vimos los primeros escribanos montesinos (Emberiza cia).

Shortly after starting to climb the path that goes towards Los Colgadizos we saw the first Rock Bunting.

Algo más nos costó encontrar los primeros ruiseñores pechuiazules (Luscinia svecica).

It was a bit more difficult for us to find the first Bluethroat.

Pero la paciencia dio sus frutos.

But patience paid off.

Otra de las aves que se pueden ver por este lugar es el bisbita alpino (Anthus spinoletta).

Another bird that can be seen in this place is the Water Pipit.

Otras pocas fotos más de la estrella del viaje.

También abundaba la collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe). Todas las fotos son de machos.

Northern Wheatear was also abundant. All photos are of males.

También son muy bonitas.

They are also very pretty.

Vimos algunas lavanderas boyeras (Motacilla flava).

We spot some Yellow Wagtail.

Y como estaba previsto, los escribanos hortelanos (Emberiza hortulana).

And as planned, the Ortolan Bunting.

Cuando regresábamos al parking, estuvimos con un grupo muy grande de machos de cabra montés (Capra pyrenaica) en el que había varios machos impresionantes.

When we were returning to the parking lot, we find  a very large herd of males Spanish Ibex  in which there were several awesome males.

Algunos jóvenes estaban ya luchando entre ellos.

Some juveniles were already fighting among themselves.

Con la atenta mirada de los adultos.

With the attentive gaze of adults.

Cuando estábamos sacando las fotos, de repente salieron todos corriendo como alma que lleva al diablo. Cual fue nuestra sorpresa al ver que un perro iba corriendo detrás de ellos. Al llegar al camino que baja de la Laguna Grande, vimos a la persona que llevaba el perro y al decirle que como llevaba el perro suelto, nos vimos envueltos en una violenta discusión con el susodicho. Yo suelo ser una persona pacifica pero no puedo con la mala educación y los malos modos. Casi llegamos a las manos. Ha sido el momento más desagradable de toda mi vida en el campo por culpa de un tipo impresentable que no admitía que le dijésemos que en un espacio protegido los perros deben ir atados. Que pena que no hubiese ningún guarda por la zona para que le hubiesen metido una buena multa que ese tipo de seres se lo merecen y no entienden de otro modo como se debe comportar uno en la naturaleza.

When we were taking the photos, suddenly everyone ran like hell. What was our surprise when we saw that a dog was running behind them. When we reached the trail that goes down from Laguna Grande, we saw the person who was carrying the dog and when we told him that why he had the dog unleashed, we got involved in a violent argument with the aforementioned. I am usually a peaceful person but I cannot handle rudeness and bad manners. We almost came to blows. It has been the most unpleasant moment of my entire life in the countryside because of an unpresentable guy who would not accept that we told him that in a protected area dogs must be on a leash. What a pity that there was no Parck Guard in the area so that they could have given him a good fine, as these types of beings deserve it and do not understand otherwise how one should behave in Nature.

Aun no habíamos prestado atención a los acentores comunes (Prunella modularis) que son tan abundantes en esta zona.

We had not yet paid attention to Dunnock that are so abundant in this area.

Ya en el parking de La Plataforma pudimos contemplar a una pareja de águilas calzadas (Aquila pennata) morfo claro.

Already in the La Plataforma parking lot we were able to spot a pair of  paler morph Booted Eagles.

Y también vimos a otro rebaño de cabras montesas (Capra pyrenaica).

And we also saw another herd of Spanish Ibex.

Para finalizar, os muestro a este macho de tarabilla europea (Saxicola rubicola) que también andaba por el parking.

To finish, I show you this male Common Stonechat that was also around the parking lot.
