Pajareando los quebrantahuesos. Birding the Lammergeiers.

Esta semana os muestro lo que dio de si un viaje de tres días para observar a los quebrantahuesos (Gypaetus barbatus) en el pirineo Oscense. 
This week I show you what we could observe in a three-day trip to watch Lammergeiers in the Pyrenees of Huesca.

El tiempo fue muy bueno aunque demasiado caluroso para la época de año en la que fuimos.
The weather was very good but too warm for the time of year we went.

Los tres días vimos a los deseados quebrantahuesos pero el segundo como les echaron de comer fue increible la cantidad que vimos acudiendo al muladar.
All three days we saw the desired Lammergeiers but the second as they put carronade in a midden was amazing how many we saw.

A continuación os muestro algunas de las aves vistas aunque el protagonista es, sin lugar a dudas, el quebrantahuesos (Gypaetus barbatus). Que ave tan majestuosa y elegante.
Then I show you some of the birds seen though the protagonist is, without doubt, the Lammergeier. This is a majestic and elegant Bird.

Es increible la gracilidad con la que vuelan estas aves tan grandes.
It's amazing the gracefulness with which such large birds fly.





Los había de todas las edades.
They were of all ages.













Y también vimos muchos buitres leonados (Gyps fulvus). En la imagen un joven.
And we also saw many Griffon Vultures. In the picture a juvenile.

Los azafranes silvestres (Colchicum autumnale) anunciaban la llegada del otoño.
Autumn Crocus announced the arrival of autumn.



Papamoscas cerrojillo (Ficedula hypoleuca).
Pied Flycatcher.



Los serbales de los cazadores (Sorbus aucuparia) estaban cargados de frutos.
Rowans had a lot of of fruit.



Busardo ratonero (Buteo buteo).
Common Buzzard.



Un becerro muy joven.
A very young calf.



Lavandera cascadeña (Motacilla cinerea).
Grey Wagtail.



También vimos varios milanos reales (Milvus milvus).
We also saw several Red Kites.





Roquero rojo (Monticola saxatilis).
Rock Thrush.



Águila calzada (Aquila pennata) morfo oscuro.
Booted Eagle dark morph.



Collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe).
Northern Wheatear.



En este roquedo se podían ver chovas piquigualdas (Pyrrhocorax graculus) y piquirrojas (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax).
In this crag could be seen Yellow-billed and Red-billed Choughs.



Acentor común (Prunella modularis).
Dunnock.



Un alimoche común (Neophron percnopterus) hostigando a los buitres leonados (Gyps fulvus). 
An Egyptian Vulture harassing Griffon Vultures.





Joven de aguilucho cenizo (Circus pygargus).
Juvenile of Montagu's Harrier.



Este jabalí (Sus scrofa) nos dio un buen susto.
This Wild Boar gave us a good scare.



Gavilán común (Accipiter nisus).
Eurasian Sparrowhawk.



Aviones comunes (Delichon urbica).
House Martins.



Este lugar no puede ser más bonito.
This place can not be more beautiful.













Alimoche común (Neophron percnopterus).
Egyptian Vulture.











Algunos jóvenes de buitre leonado (Gyps fulvus) continuaban siendo cebados por sus padres.
Some juvenile Griffon Vultures continued to be feed by their parents.



Mariposa saltacercas (Lasiommata megera).
Wall Brown.



Carbonero garrapinos (Periparus ater).
Coal Tit.



Algunas parejas de quebrantahuesos (Gypaetus barbatus) nos deleitaron con sus vuelos sincronizados.
Some couples of Lammergeiers delighted us with their synchronized flights.















También había algunas disputas. 
There were also some fights.



Hora de comer.
Eating time.











También fue a comer un zorro común (Vulpes vulpes).
Also went to eat a red fox.
