Hello one more time.

Esta entrada está dedicada a otro viaje al Parque Nacional Picos de Europa para ver aves alpinas y pasear por este maravilloso lugar. Siempre que los clientes me demandan aves alpinas yo no dudo en dirigirlos por los Picos de Europa pues es muy difícil no cumplir los objetivos del viaje.
This post is dedicated to another trip to the Picos de Europa National Park to see Alpine Birds and walk through this wonderful place. Whenever customers are demanding Alpine Birds I do not hesitate to direct them to Picos de Europa because it is very difficult not to meet the objectives of the trip.

El viaje fue de tres días y el tiempo fue muy bueno el primer día, algo nublado el segundo y muy bueno el tercero.
The trip was of three days and the weather was very good the first day, the second somewhat cloudy and the third very good again.

En el camino de ida hicimos un alto en el camino en Piedrasluengas y nada más bajarnos del coche pudimos ver un alimoche común (Neophron percnopterus).
On the way to Picos we stopped at Piedrasluengas and as soon as we get out of the van we could see a common Egyptian Vulture.

Ya en el Parque vimos muchos buitres leonados (Gyps fulvus).
And in the Park we saw many Griffon Vultures.

Cuervo (Corvus corax).
Common Raven.

Acentor alpino (Prunella collaris) con tres anillas.
Alpine Accentor with three rings.

Bonitas aves.
Beautiful Birds.

Un rebeco cantábrico (Rupicapra parva).

Cantabrian Chomois.

Había muchos pardillos comunes (Carduelis cannabina).
There were many Common Linnets.

Jovenes.
Juveniles. 

Una orquídea del lagarto (Himantoglossum hircinum).
Lizard Orchid.

Un detalle de sus bonitas flores.

Lirio de los Pirineos (Lilium pyrenaicum).
Pyrenean Lily.

Otra orquídea silvestre, la piramidal (Anacamptis pyramidalis).

Había muchas especies de plantas. En primer plano unos lirios españoles (Iris xiphium) a punto de florecer.
There were many species of plants. In the foreground some Spanish Irises ready to bloom.

Enseguida comenzó a subir la niebla desde Sotres.
Then fog arrived from Sotres.

Chova piquirroja (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax).
Red-billed Chough.

Acentor alpino (Prunella collaris).

Al poco rato la niebla  comenzo a desaparecer.
Then the fog started to disappear.

El deseado treparriscos (Tichodroma muraria).
The desired Wallcreeper.

Collaba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe).
Northern Wheatear.

La única hembra que vimos de collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe).
The only female we saw of Northern Wheatear.

Había muchas gentianas (Gentiana acaulisen) en flor.
Many Stemless Gentian were in bloom.

Bisbita Alpino (Anthus spinoletta).
Water Pipit.

Otra de la maravillas del Parque el gorrión alpino (Montifringillia nivalis).

Colirrojo tizón (Phoenicurus ochruros) macho.
Male of Black Redstart.

Juvenile.

En los tres días  de nuestra estancia vimos dos águilas reales (Aquila chrysaetos).
During the three days of our stay we watched two Golden Eagles.

Los buitres leonados (Gyps fulvus) tomaban el sol muy cerca de nuestro alojamiento.
Griffon Vultures were sunbathing close to where we stayed.

El último día decidimos recorrer una zona más baja del Parque para ver otro tipo de aves. En la foto un macho de tarabilla europea (Saxicola rubicola).
The last day we decided to go to a lower area of the Park to see other Birds species. In the photo a male of European Stonechat.

Bisbita arbóreo (Anthus trivialis).
Tree Pipit.

Escribano hortelano (Emberiza hortulana).
Ortolan Bunting.

Escribano cerillo (Emberiza citrinella).

Dunnock.

Alimoche común (Neophron percnopterus).
Egyptian Vulture.

Common Raven.
