Esta vez os muestro algunas de las aves que pudimos ver y fotografiar en una salida a La Mancha Húmeda.

This time I show you some of the Birds that we could watch and photograp in a trip to wetlands of La Mancha.

Nuestro primer propósito era contemplar como las gangas ibérica (Pterocles alchata) y las gangas ortega (Pterocles orientalis) acudían a beber a una de las lagunas.

Our first target was to watch how Pin-tailed Sandgrouse and Black-bellied Sandgrouse came to drink to one of the lagoons.

Al poco rato de llegar comenzamos a ver venir los primeros bandos de gangas ibéricas (Pterocles alchata).

Soon after arriving we began to watch the first flocks of Pin-tailed Sandgrouse coming.

El de la derecha es un macho y el de izquierda es una hembra.

The one on the right is a male and the one on the left is a female.

Dos macho y dos hembras. Los machos son el de arriba y el de abajo.

Two males and two females. Males are the one above and the one below.

Uno de los bando sera muy numeroso. En la foto se pueden ver 135 aves pero venían más del doble.

One of the flocks was very numerous. In the photo you can see 135 Birds but they came more than double.

También vimos llegar varios grupos de gangas ortega (Pterocles orientalis) pero de muy pocos ejemplares. En la foto dos macho y una hembra en medio.

We also saw several groups of Black-bellied Sandgrouse but of very few specimens. In the photo two males and a female in the middle.

We saw several Black-eared Wheatear.

En otra de las lagunas que visitamos había un flamenco enano (Phoenicopterus minor) entre los comunes (Phoenicopterus ruber).

In another of the lagoons we visited there was a Lesser Flamingo among the greater ones.

Avoceta común (Recurvirostra avosetta).

Pied Avocet.

Porrón pardo (Aythya nyroca).

Ferruginous Duck.

Macho de libélula de flecha roja (Sympetrum sanguineum).

Male of Ruddy Darter.

En esta época del año la mayoría de los patos están aun con el plumaje en eclipse o de invierno. En la foto un macho de malvasía cabeciblanca (Oxyura leucocephala).

At this time of year, most Ducks are still in eclipse or winter plumage. In the photo a male of White-headed Duck.

Da gusto contemplar la recuperación que ha tenido esta especie.

It's nice to contemplate the recovery that this species has had.

Zampullín cuellinegro (Podiceps nigricollis) en plumaje de invierno.

Flamenco común (Phoenicopterus ruber). En vuelo es como mejor se aprecia la belleza de los colores de este ave.

Vimos dos jóvenes de avetorrillos comunes (Ixobrychus minutus).

We saw two juveniles of Little Bittern.

Aguilucho lagunero occidental (Circus aeruginosus) joven.

Juvenile of Eurasian Marsh Harrier.

Calamón común (Porphyrio porphyrio). Vimos dos, pero no se si uno de ellos era Ramón pues al pasar todo el verano igual ya no anda por esa zona.

Purple Gallinule. We saw two, but I do not know if one of them was Ramón, because as all summer has pessed I do not know if he is still in the same area.
