Hola una vez más.

Hi again.

This time I show you a trip to Toledo to see waterfowl and steppe Birds.

The most awesome of the trip was this flock of thousands of  that came to where we were and that clouded the sky. I have never seen such a great flock in Spain of this species.

Despite having very few water in one of the lagoons there were several Kentish Plover.

A mixed group of male and female of Black-bellied Sandgrouse and two pairs of Pin-tailed Sandgrouse.

In the flock of pinto Common Starlings I saw this Pin-tailed Sandgrouse .

And others a little higher and easier to see.

We saw several groups of Great Bustards. Their mustaches are already growing and some of them are already beginning to display.

Había bastantes alondras comunes (Alauda arvensis).
There were quite a few Sky Larks.

These Great Bustards were the ones that were closer and quite tame.

Grullas comunes (Grus grus).
Common Cranes.

Then we moved to the lagoons of La Guardia and saw many Northern Shovelers. In the photo a beautiful male.
