Próximos viajes. Next trips.

Hola otra vez.

Hi again.

This week I show you a trip to the Southwestern Mountain Range of the community of Madrid. What stands out most in this area is great raptors such as Spanish Imperial Eagles, Golden Eagles, Black and the Griffons Vultures.

It's a shame that these birds are so elusive and do not get closer to people to get better photos.

Weather was excellent although it was quite warm for this time of year.

When we reached the area there was a large concentration of Vultures mostly Black Vultures.

We also saw our first Red-rumped Swallow of this season.

And this stunning male of Golden Eagle.

The female had to be incubating because it did not appear all the time we were in this area.

Let us hope that this year will be as good as the previous because they did rise a Female.

Impresionente ave.
Awesome bird.

A inmature of Spanish Imperial Eagle.

In total we saw two inmatures and two adults as the female of this photo that I have known for a long time.

Otra pareja de águilas reales (Aquila chrysaetos).
Another pair of Golden Eagles.

The male is the one on the left. Pay attention that he is smaller than his mate.

This is the first Short-toed Eagle I see this year.

We saw several Northern Goshawks as the one in the photo and a male of Eurasian Sparrowhawk but I could not photograph it.

Una bonita lavandera cascadeña (Motacilla cinerea).
A beautiful Grey Wagtail.

Pinzón vulgar (Fringilla coelebs).
