This post is about a recent visit to the Arrocampo Ornithological Park in Saucedilla, Cáceres.

One of the goals of the trip was to watch the elusive Great Bitterns but this time we did not see them. We will have to return and try again.

As always the people who attend the information point and where the keys are removed for the observatories treated us magnificently. From this blog I want to thank the City Hall of Saucedilla for the perfect maintenance of this facilities. Although it would be advisable that in some of the observatories some corridors can be made between reeds to facilitate the Birds observations and with this it does not bother to them since soon they become accustomed and they have millions of places to hide and to go unnoticed.

The weather was good although it was cloudy most of the day.
