Pajareando por Somiedo. Birdwatching Somiedo.


Hola de nuevo.
Hi again.

Este viaje de tres días fue al Parque Natural Somiedo. Nuestro objetivo principal era avistar el oso pardo europeo (Ursus arctos arctos). Las esperas las realizamos principalmente al atardecer y el resto del tiempo anduvimos pajareando por ese bonito Parque.
This three-day trip was to Somiedo Natural Park. Our main goal was to sight the Eurasian Brown Bear. The waits were performed mainly at dusk and the rest of the time we were birding by this beautiful Park.

El primer día el tiempo fue muy malo e incluso nos nevó durante parte de la tarde y la temperatura no pasó de los tres grados centígrados. El segundo mejoró bastante y el tercero fue el mejor.
The first day the weather was very bad and it even snowed for most of the afternoon and the temperature did not exceed three degrees Celsius. The second improved considerably and the third was the best.

Esta mosca me llamó la atención y pertenece a la familia de las Tachinidae.
This fly caught my attention and belongs to the family of the Tachinidae.

Enseguida la niebla nos alcanzó. En la foto otro rebeco cantábrico (Rupicapra pyrenaica parva).
Then the fog reached us. Pictured another Cantabrian Chamois.


Al haber niebla los pájaros permitían un mayor acercamiento. En la foto un macho de roquero rojo (Monticola saxatilis).

Y cuando se puso a nevar decidimos dar por concluido el día.
And when it began to snow we decided to end the day.


A la mañana siguiente la nieve había cuajado en las cumbres pero no llovía en exceso y decidimos ir de excursión.
The next morning the snow had covered peaks but did not rain too much and we decided to hike.


Pudimos contemplar bastantes especies de orquídeas silvestres.
We were able to see many species of wild Orchids.

También disfrutamos mucho con la presencia de muchas especies de mariposas. Es una pena que sean tan difíciles de fotografiar. En la imagen una Boloria sp.

Mientras realizábamos las esperas para ver los osos pardos europeos (Ursus arctos arctos) vimos varios corzos (Capreolus capreolus).
While doing the waits to see the Eurasian Brown Bears we saw several Roe Deer.


Y también a este zorro rojo (Vulpes vulpes).
And also this Red Fox.


Cuando ya pensábamos que no íbamos a tener suerte apareció este macho de oso pardo europeo (Ursus arctos arctos). Una pena que tardase tanto en tomar la cámara pues salio por mitad de la ladera.
When we thought we were not going to get lucky appeared this male of Eurasian Brown Bear. A shame that it took me so much time to take the camera because he went down by the middle of the hillside.
